I’M THANKFUL FOR THE MEMORIES
To my girls I lost along the way,
I just want to start off by saying I am so proud of you and the life you are building for yourself and your family. We are all at different stages of life. Stages that we once talked about going through together. Planning our weddings, having babies, where we wanted to live for the rest of our lives. We’re now at the point where these dreams are finally becoming a reality. We used to do everything together. We were together through it all. The high school drama, rough times at home, break-ups, make-ups, sports- it all only made us closer. You helped me through all the crazy twist, turns and obstacles I was going through at that time in my life and for that, I will forever be grateful. Friendships often come and go, but the memories last a life time. Thank you for always being the best friends I needed. You helped shape me into who I am today.
Friends, I hope you’re well. I hope that wherever you end up in this life, you end up happy and as the best version of yourself. I know that sometimes we close ourselves off for fear of pain or rejection, but I invite you to be more open. I’m learning this myself too because I know that in the past I may have been more closed off. And in a way, I still am. But I’m learning to be more open with those whom I trust. Somewhere along the road, we hit a bump that we couldn’t bypass. I used to hold a grudge to that — but now, I realize why that bump was there. It served a bigger purpose.
I’ll never stop loving you guys and I am always rooting for you.
You know who you are, if you’re reading this.
Sincerely,
Han
