“I like the smell of earth, the touch of waves, the taste of berries, the sight of trees, the sound of laughter and the feeling of being fully alive.”
1. I want to travel the world.
I almost can’t stand it. I’ve got this itch, that I’ve had for a long time. I want to challenge myself. I want to see how I push myself outside my comfort zone and test the limits. There’s something about figuring out how resourceful you are when exposing yourself to new places, ordering a meal when you don’t speak the language or even finding your way around a busy city.
2. I want to live in a big city.
Once I finish my wedding and event planning certificate, I would love to move to a big city. I’ve always felt like I belonged in a city, because small town USA isn’t for me. The thought of walking down the same street everyday and never seeing the same person twice gives me chills. Somewhere I can launch my business, with amazing night life and a ton of things to do is ideal. I love Nashville and Dallas. They’re my two favorite places I’ve been. I would love to visit Atlanta, before making a definite decision.
3. I can play the Saxophone.
I’m probably not any good, honestly. I played the Saxophone in the school band from 6th-9th grade before I quit. It was something I never took serious and didn’t really care for it. My favorite part was the parades, it was always fun to march with my friends and then go to the fair/carnival that followed. I can still read music, too.
4. I am OBSESSED with The Sims.
Okay, so some of you may have already known that, since it’s no secret. It is my favorite escape. You love cuddling up with a book on a Sunday afternoon? I love sitting at my desk and playing The Sims 4, for hours. It all started when my sister and I used to play The Sims 2, back in the day on our PlayStation 2. I have played over 800 hours of The Sims 4 on PC, since I purchased it. I own every $40 expansion pack, every $20 game pack and every $10 stuff pack. You may call it unhealthy, but I call it love.
5. I am also obsessed with phone cases.
I have owned probably close to 100+ phone cases. My newest goto’s being Casemate. I am so IN LOVE with their gorgeous cases and great protection that I don’t mind that the 3 cases I own for my iPhone X were $80 a piece. I haven’t had this phone for long, so I only have roughly 15. I cannot wait to keep adding to that collection!
6. I really like my job.
I am far from a gold star worker, but I do enjoy it. I work as a drive-thru teller at a small branch of a corporate bank in the downtown area. By small branch, I mean there are 6 of us and some days it is defiantly hectic, but we manage.
7. I’ve broken/fractured SEVEN bones.
Yep, it’s true. It’s almost ridiculous, to be honest. I could go on and tell you the long drawn out stories on how I broke each one, but that’s for another time on another post. I have broken my collar-bone, left ring finger(which resulted in an expensive no need surgery that didn’t even work), my nose and my left wrist. I fractured my left elbow and both arms. Every year from 5th grade year to my 11th grade year. The stories range from getting my legs pulled out from under me on the stairs, to tripping over my own feet while running, to even hitting my nose on the railing of the bleachers playing free ball. I’m not too sure why I haven’t hurt myself since then, but I think it’s because I grew up. Lol.
8. I am a hopeless romantic.
It’s true. All I really want in life is to find someone who loves me unconditionally and to marry them, no matter if I’m successful at my career or fail, no matter what I look like after a long day of work. I love old traditions, the cute dates, good manners, respect. Kelsea Ballerini may hate love songs and Gosling, but I love them. 😉
9. I LOVE candy corn.
My favorite spooky time candy, hands down. I didn’t know my love for candy corn until I was like 16. I’m sure I was one of those kids on Halloween that was like, “Oh my gosh, mom. I got candy corn instead of CHOCOLATE,” but now I much prefer candy corn over chocolate. I don’t know, there’s something about climbing into my chair and watching Halloweentown while eating candy corn that puts a smile on my face.
10. I’m working on being a better me.
It’s hard. I am no longer the person I was in high school and I am so thankful for that and for the friends I have now, that do not hold it against me. I’ve grown so much in the last 2 years, that I cannot even put into words the amount of happiness it brings me. No one owes you anything in life and I thought everyone owed me something. Being mean gets you nothing and I can’t wait to continue growing and watching myself slowly become the person I want to be.
“One day your heart will stop beating, and none of your fears will matter. What will matter is how you lived.”
Sincerely,
Han
