Travel Bucket List

“atlas in her hands

adventure in her eyes,

wanderlust in her blood.”

Today, we’re going to be counting down from 7. Here are the SEVEN things on my travel bucket list. I dream. I dream realistically and I also dream unrealistically. So of course, some of these things I may never get to do, but just having them on my bucket list, makes me pretty cool if I do say so myself.

7. Go to Coachella.

It is the ultimate music festival. 2 weekends in the month of April in Indio, California. I’ve been wanting to attend this festival for 4 years now!! All your favorite singers and rappers perform AND you just might happen to run into your favorite youtuber/internet celebrity!

6. Visit all 50 states.

I feel like this is a given. I feel like everyone should have the opportunity to visit all 50 states. So far, I have been to 11/50 and I feel like that’s pretty sad. I’ve visited Missouri(duh), Illinois, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Nebraska, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, Arkansas and Kentucky. There is so much more I want to see and do.

5. Bathe in the mineral baths in Italy.

Italy is beautiful. They are one of the many natural hot springs in Tuscany. Relaxing at its finest. Why wouldn’t you want to chill here?

4. Stay in an igloo.

I’m not sure why. Maybe just so I can say I did it. It’s going to be cold, freezing cold. I’ve always wanted to go to Switzerland, so maybe that’s why.

3. Swim with elephants in Thailand.

I love elephants. I still have a few stuffed elephants from my childhood. I’ve owned all sorts of clothing items with elephants on them, too. I was on Pinterest one day and came across a pin about swimming with elephants in Phuket and ever since then I’ve been hooked. I’ve read so many articles and seen so many pictures, I am so ready!! It’s one thing I would really love to do in my lifetime.

2. Visit Platform 9 3/4.

It’s located in Kings Cross Station in London. I wasn’t always a Harry Potter fan, until about a year ago. My sister has always been obsessed, we seen every movie in theaters. I even bought her the movie box set, so she would have them all. I’ve grown to love the series and even find myself knowing more about them than I thought. Oh, and just incase you were wondering… I am 100% Slytherin.

1. Swim at Jeffrey’s Bay.

Blue Crush 2 is one of my absolute favorite movies ever, which is where this one comes from. This was originally “Surf at Jeffrey’s Bay,” but over the years I came to realize that if by 20 years old I can’t surf, it is probably not going to happen.

I leave you with this.

Travel. Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.

Sincerely,

Han
